Re:    The Stanley – LMS 0921, 10082 – 148th St., Surrey &
         Guildford Park Enterprises Ltd. &
         Henderson Development (Canada) Ltd. &
        Crosby Property Management Ltd.

This will confirm receipt of your fax dated October 11, 2000, in which you advise that you are acting for the above parties by (1) demanding that COLCO reveal sources of information regarding The Stanley; and by (2) demanding that COLCO immediately remove The Stanley from the Leaky Rotten Condo List; and by (3) notifying COLCO and James Balderson that, failing removal, “the strata Corporation and the developer cooperatively will be instructing [you, Patrick A. Williams] to commence action for damages and an injunction” including “defamation against COLCO generally and Mr. Balderson personally.”

Please be advised that we are ready, willing and able to meet with you and your clients, prior to commencement of action against us, for the purpose of discussing the possible removal of The Stanley from Leaky Rotten Condo List #6 and also from the first anniversary edition being prepared now for release by October 31.  Such a discussion would include the reason why The Stanley was included on the Leaky Rotten Condo List and why your clients think it should be excluded. 

We trust that you understand that James Balderson and COLCO seek the truth regarding leaky rotten condos, including The Stanley, and, further, that we will continue to express our opinions regarding British Columbia’s residential construction industry which built, and then fraudulently sold, defective housing to thousands of victims.  We note that your law firm has acted and is acting on behalf of many victims in seeking recovery of repair costs for leaky rotten condos and we trust that you are well aware of the fraud, negligence and defects which causes so much suffering, financial and otherwise, by owners of leaky rotten condos.
